George Nash, distinguished historian of conservatism and author of The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, will assess the current moment for American conservatism.

What happened to conservative intellectual leadership during the rise of Donald Trump? What is its role in the current presidency? What are the immediate future prospects for American conservatism? George Nash is uniquely qualified to address these and related questions. Author of numerous books---including studies of the Founding Fathers, Jewish conservatives, and Herbert Hoover---Nash is best known for his The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, which one scholar called "literally the first and last word on the topic." 

This PEP-sponsored event will take place in Rocky 3 at 4:30 pm on Thursday, May 23.
